An electronic device containing "radioactive" material is hidden on the campsite. Gradually more information will become available on it's whereabouts. Can you find it in time and neutralize it before it explodes? The finder will get a medal of honor and gets to hide the device in a new location!

A playfully designed "radioactive" device gets hidden somewhere on the campsite. People or teams race to find it using clues that show up on a TV screen near the common areas. Each round runs about 30 to 60 minutes, and whoever finds it gets a photo as proof and then becomes the hider for the next round.

A countdown timer starts. First clues are environmental sensor data: temperature, elevation, and a rough location circle that gets smaller over time. As the clock ticks down, a fisheye camera on the device gradually reveals what's around it, so players can start recognising the spot. Teams search the campsite using these hints.
When a team finds the device, they have to get the defusal from the main display code, enter it on the device, and get a quick photo snapped as proof. Then they pick a new hiding spot, stash the device, and press the onboard button to arm it. Next round starts.

The game gets families wandering the campsite together, mixes tech with physical play, and keeps itself going because every winner becomes the next puzzle setter. The slow reveal keeps things tense without locking out younger or less technical players.

A maker by heart and recently by profession as well. I particularly like blending the physical with the digital.
