Cryptography is sometimes seen as the black art in the field of computer science - but it doesn't have to be like that: I'll explain fundamental concepts, primitives & protocols and their use-cases based on real world analogies.
This talk is for you, if you ever wanted to make sense of terms like: encryption, hashes, signatures and also symmetric/asymmetric encryption, AES, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256/512...or even ECB, CBC, CFB, CTR, XTS or PBKDF, ARGON and many more.
I've explained cryptography to (even IT-)managers at work many times - and have claimed that it can just as well be used with kids - so this talk is also the validation of my theory.
